Apart from this, KCC holder farmers also get many facilities. KCC holders get insurance cover of up to Rs 50,000 on death or permanent disability and up to Rs 25,000 for other risks. Along with Kisan Credit Card, farmers are given savings account, smart and debit cards. They get interest on savings and also get flexibility to repay the loan. The loan is easy to repay and lasts for 3 years.

Land owners, sharecroppers and tenant farmers can apply for Kisan Credit Card. The minimum age of the applicant should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 75 years.
